Confident. Curious. Capable.
Personalized tutoring in reading, writing, math, and homework to help elementary learners thrive.

Meet Caroline
Hi, I’m Caroline! I’m a Bronxville native, mom of two little boys, and a teacher who loves helping kids feel confident, curious, and excited about learning.

I graduated from Trinity College and later earned my Master’s in Childhood and Special Education from NYU, where I finished at the top of my class. I spent over ten years teaching in wonderful schools in NYC and Westchester, building strong skills in reading, writing, math, and helping kids stay organized and focused. I believe that every child can shine when they feel supported, encouraged, and proud of themselves.

In the summertime, I tutor students in Quogue, helping them feel ready and excited for the new school year.

I grew up right here in Bronxville, where I played field hockey and lacrosse, and ran track. Now I live in Fleetwood with my husband, Michael (also a Bronxville grad!), and our two boys — who teach me something new every single day.

Teaching Philosophy
I believe that kids learn best when they feel comfortable, confident, and supported. My goal is to create a space where every child feels safe to take risks, make mistakes, and grow.

Every learner is different, so I take the time to get to know each child’s unique learning style and tailor lessons to fit their needs. When students feel understood and heard, they’re more motivated and open to learning.

I love using hands-on materials and connecting lessons to topics that spark each child’s curiosity — whether it’s a favorite hobby, book, or activity. Learning should feel fun and meaningful. I move at a pace that helps each child feel successful every step of the way.
